Job Title: Assembly Operator – Electrical Components
Shift: 6:00AM - 4:30PM
Schedule: Monday - Thursday (OT available on Fridays)
Pay: $17.75 (Promotions and pay increase available after 90 days)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Operator to support the production of electrical components used in critical power systems. This role focuses on small-part assembly, including circuit breakers, switches, relays, and related components. The ideal candidate has strong manual dexterity, follows precise instructions, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble small electrical components such as circuit breakers, switches, relays, and sub-assemblies
- Perform wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly per work instructions and engineering drawings
- Build and prepare products for testing and final integration into larger generator systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment safely and effectively
- Follow detailed assembly procedures, schematics, and blueprints
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with safety and 5S standards
- Collaborate with technicians and engineers to support production flow
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or electronics preferred
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for small-part assembly
- Ability to work in a team environment and meet production goals
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with electrical wiring or soldering
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
- Basic understanding of electrical components and systems
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle small components and perform repetitive tasks
- Occasionally lift up to (25–40 lbs, adjust as needed)
