Process Technician - 2nd shift

Job Description:

DPP is seeking a Process Technician for a second shift role with our client in the civil aerospace business.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 2 PM to 10:30 PM
Location: Cypress, CA
Work authorization: US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
Contract: W2 position

Position summary:

As a Process Technician, you will perform weekly maintenance on equipment to ensure equipment is safe and reliable. You will follow production plans to meet customer requirements while demonstrating the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player to maintain and uphold standards. You will need to be available to work second or third shift depending on business needs.

Responsibilities:

Perform weekly maintenance on equipment to ensure equipment is safe and reliable.
Ability to work as an individual and as a team player to get the job done and follow production plans in order to meet customer requirements.
Resolve conflicts within the team in the context of teamwork in order to ensure high standards of professionalism at all times.
Participate in cost improvements in order to satisfy customer needs.
Must be able available to work occasional weekend shift (be available for service support on a 24-hour basis, including weekends) depending on business needs and be able to stand for an extended period of time.

Basic requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel/Word)
Experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Detail oriented with strong mechanical aptitude
