* High School Diploma or GED equivalent, and typically a minimum of 1+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, or 3+ years of industry or military experience.
* A minimum of 4-5 years of aircraft electrical or avionics maintenance experience.
* Experience with Boeing 737 aircraft.
* Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting fiber optics, including installation and termination.
* Ability to troubleshoot fiber optics, including installation and termination.
* Ability to terminate and install electrical connectors.
* Ability to work independently without supervision.
* Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift.
* Open to military and/or corporate aircraft background.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen. Preferred Skills
* FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant Certification.
* Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and environmental processes, including Human Factors, FOD control, tool control, health and safety, and COSHH.
* Experience in military or corporate aviation maintenance environments. Job Duties & Functions
* Read and interpret aircraft wiring schematics and diagrams.
* Perform bonding, resistance checks, and continuity checks.
* Locate correct wire routing during system installations.
* Perform AC/DC power checks.
* Install aircraft wiring in accordance with engineering drawings, including proper spacing, cable ties, lacing tape, bundle opening, connector removal and installation, and special cable care.
* Perform wiring terminations including ring terminals, connector pins and sockets, splices, shield ferrules, coaxial connectors, and shielded twisted pair splicing.
* Utilize electrical and measuring tools, including environmental crimpers, Daniels crimpers, AMP crimpers, Burndy crimpers, megohmmeters, multimeters, strippers, push-pull scales, weigh scales, and bond meters.
* Install fiber optics, coaxial cable, quadrax, and related aircraft cabling systems.
* Perform air data testing with proper assistance.
* Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, defect rectification, modifications, repairs, and functional tests on avionics and electrical systems.
* Document work performed accurately and maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
* Highlight technical issues, discrepancies, or other issues to the lead and manager. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Ability to climb ladders and work at heights using fall protection equipment.
* Ability to enter confined spaces.
* Must be able to obtain Fall Protection Certification in accordance with OSHA regulations.
