* High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* A minimum of 3 years of Aircraft Mechanic experience in commercial, defense, or relevant trade apprenticeship.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
* Ability to close tolerance drill within .003 and precision measure within .003.
* Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.

* Repair and overhaul structures for P8 aircraft.
* Identify and work with various fasteners including rivets, blind rivets, screws, hi-locks, bolts, and lock bolts.
* Read and interpret blueprints, process data sheets, and maintenance instruction manuals.
* Perform cleaning, corrosion prevention and control, polishing, and dry wash tasks.
* Remove and reinstall access panels and fairings, including damaged fastener removal without structural damage.
* Apply aircraft finishes including primer, paint, Alodine, and sealants.
* Perform structural repairs and modifications on strike fighters, commercial derivative aircraft, and flight control components.
* Utilize precision measuring tools including micrometers, dial calipers, grip gauges, feeler gauges, depth gauges, trimic, and bore gages.
* Fabricate, trim, drill, ream, and assemble metallic and composite components, including installation of fasteners.
* Utilize assembly jigs, repair equipment, and fixed tooling to meet blueprint requirements.
* Complete aircraft technical logbooks, maintenance documentation, and work packages accurately and within timelines.
* Interpret Airworthiness Directives, Technical Directives, and Service Bulletins.
* Report technical issues, discrepancies, and safety incidents to leadership.
* Perform daily tool inventories and maintain required certifications and training.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company processes, and procedures.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as directed. Physical Requirements & Environment
