Shift: Weekend Days | 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Position Overview

The QC Coordinator will perform quality inspection activities on aircraft parts, sub-assemblies, and major assemblies in accordance with engineering specifications and regulatory standards. Working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment, this role supports Initial Phase, Composites, and Final Phase operations to ensure all products meet type design data and the company’s quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Perform inspections using engineering drawings, route cards, travelers, work instructions, QA procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct preliminary, progressive, and final inspections of aircraft structures and systems.
  • Verify functional operations, inspect for FOD (Foreign Object Debris), and ensure complete and accurate documentation.
  • Witness, verify, and document required manufacturing process steps.
  • Perform conformity and first article inspections to ensure FAA compliance.
  • Ensure proper use and safe storage of shop tools and equipment.
  • Promote and practice safety procedures; report hazards and participate in safety investigations.

Additional Functions:

  • Provide technical support to manufacturing staff as needed.
  • Conduct area inspections to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of quality inspection experience OR 2 years of aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • Other Formal Inspection Training Program (90 days) required.
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints or CATIA data.
  • Working knowledge of shop mathematics.
  • Competent in using basic shop tools and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of aerospace or relevant manufacturing experience.
