Target salary range: $85,000 - $105,000.00
Quality Specialist job in Chandler, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace/Defense company. In this job you will support day-to-day quality operations by inspecting materials and products, monitoring processes, investigating nonconformances, and helping drive corrective and preventive actions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using standard measurement tools and inspection plans
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify nonconforming material, initiate containment actions, and support disposition
- Assist with root cause investigations and support CAPA activities
- Maintain and improve quality procedures, work instructions, and control plans
- Support internal audits and preparation for customer or third-party audits
- Monitor key quality metrics (scrap, rework, defect rates)
- Support calibration checks and basic metrology activities
Qualifications:
- Federal Law requires U.S. Citizenship
- U.S. citizen with ability to pass ATF background check
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree or technical training preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in quality inspection/assurance in a manufacturing or regulated environment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Working knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauge, etc.)
- Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP/MRP, QMS systems a plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with quality systems and standards (ISO 9001/AS9100/IATF 16949/FDA, etc.)
- Familiarity with GD&T and inspection methods
- Experience with root cause tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto) and CAPA workflows
- Internal auditor training or experience
