Job Title: Quality Inspector – MRB (Material Review Board)
Location: Broomfield Colorado
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to manage product and processes within the MRB cage. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards, working closely with quality engineers and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage product flow and perform quality checks on items entering and exiting the MRB cage.
- Collaborate with quality engineers to identify issues, perform containment, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct accurate visual, dimensional, mechanical, and/or functional inspections per inspection plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Initiate and document material non-conformance reports with detailed and accurate information.
- Review in-process and final production materials to confirm specifications and document results.
- Ensure product compliance with drawings, specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Participate in ISO 9001/AS9100, FAA, customer, and internal audits as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- IPC 610 and/or 620 certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; work will be performed in office, lab, and manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with visual and mechanical inspection using basic hand tools (e.g., calipers, pin gauges, height gauges).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification.
- Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 certified environments.
- Proficiency in office software applications.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $25.50/hr.
