That’s where you come in.✈️ POSITION OVERVIEWAs a CNC Machinist in our prototype shop, you’ll work with modern equipment, tight tolerances, and a team that values craftsmanship and speed.You will play a key role in machining precision components that bring this historic vision of building the first supersonic commercial airplane to life!!
📍 Location: Englewood, CO
Pay Rate: $40–$50/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Day shift 10-hour shifts, 5 days/week Occasional Saturdays
Employment: 6-month contract with potential for permanent hire
🔩 Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate CNC mills, lathes, and 5-axis machines
- Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings to meet precise specifications
- Program CNC Machines, edit G-code/M-code, & modify existing programs to optimize performance
- Perform in-process quality inspections to ensure part accuracy and adherence to tolerances
- Inspect parts before and after machining using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
- Track production data and support continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor
- Collaborate with machinists, programmers, and engineers in a fast-paced setting
🧰 Qualifications:
- Experience with Mazak or Haas CNC machines (5-axis preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints, perform setups, and edit CNC programs
- Experience in aerospace, medical, or automotive machining
- Strong understanding of tight tolerances and quality control
- Skilled in setting up tooling, loading programs, and editing G-code/M-code
- Track record of spotting issues before they become problems—whether in tooling, code, or setup
- Familiarity with SPC and lean manufacturing principles
- High school diploma or GED required

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
