What You’ll DoAs a Remanufacturing Service Technician, you will play a key role in restoring and maintaining locomotive traction motor components. Responsibilities include:
Disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and rebuilding components
Inspecting parts using precision measuring tools and testing procedures
Operating manual, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
Reassembling machinery to meet strict quality standards
Safely operating forklifts and overhead cranes
Completing documentation for each step of the process
Supporting continuous improvement efforts (5S, lean, kaizen)
Collaborating with team members to meet production goals
Shift OptionsWhat You BringHigh School Diploma or GED
At least 1 year of manufacturing or mechanical experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfort using tools and working in a hands-on environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred QualificationsTechnical school certification or Associate’s degree
Experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment
Forklift or overhead crane experience
Understanding of lean manufacturing principles

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
