Responsibilities:
- Perform routine tool setup, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on tooling equipment.
- Assist in the manufacture, assembly, and fabrication of tools.
- Operate factory support equipment (e.g., forklifts, carts) to move materials and tooling throughout the shop.
- Interpret blueprint drawings to ensure proper tool maintenance and assembly.
- Support reverse engineering efforts by assisting in recreating tools or parts based on existing designs.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide tooling support and assist in process improvement for fabrication and assembly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in tooling maintenance, repair, or a related mechanical field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings
- Familiarity with tooling preventive maintenance processes
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and move tooling equipment as needed
- Willingness to operate forklifts or other material-moving equipment (certification may be required)
- Previous Boeing experience is a plus
- On-site position with daily hands-on shop floor responsibilities
