Tooling Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine tool setup, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on tooling equipment.
• Assist in the manufacture, assembly, and fabrication of tools.
• Operate factory support equipment (e.g., forklifts, carts) to move materials and tooling throughout the shop.
• Interpret blueprint drawings to ensure proper tool maintenance and assembly.
• Support reverse engineering efforts by assisting in recreating tools or parts based on existing designs.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide tooling support and assist in process improvement for fabrication and assembly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in tooling maintenance, repair, or a related mechanical field
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings
• Familiarity with tooling preventive maintenance processes
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and move tooling equipment as needed
• Willingness to operate forklifts or other material-moving equipment (certification may be required)
• Previous Boeing experience is a plus
• On-site position with daily hands-on shop floor responsibilities
