Build the Tools That Power Aerospace InnovationPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this hands-on role, you’ll fabricate, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, and fixtures essential to aircraft manufacturing. Your craftsmanship and technical expertise will directly support production efficiency, product quality, and innovation on the shop floor.
What You’ll DoFabricate, repair, and maintain jigs, fixtures, cutting tools, gauges, molds, and dies used in aerospace manufacturing.
Interpret blueprints, models, and specifications to produce precise tooling components.
Operate manual machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and ensure top-quality workmanship.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and refine tooling solutions.
Perform heat treatment, assembly, and fitting of metal components.
Support aircraft structure work, including fabrication, assembly, and repair tasks as needed.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Machinist or Tool Maker.
5+ years operating manual mill and lathe machines.
5+ years reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong experience with precision measuring tools and instruments.
Flexibility to work variable shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
High school diploma or GED.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in aircraft heavy maintenance (Depot Level).
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Pay Details: $23.73 per hour
