Job Title: Wire Harness AssemblerJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team where youll be working on a wide array of tasks, from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies. This position involves working with modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. You will be reading diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts, using hand and power tools, jigs, and saws, and making continuity checks on work in process and completed products. Quality inspections on the processing line may be required, ensuring compliance with quality specifications. The role also includes disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies.
Responsibilities
- Perform production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies.
- Work from diagrams and drawings, making initial layouts.
- Use hand and power tools, jigs, and saws.
- Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed.
- Perform quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies and subassemblies.
Essential Skills- Ability to follow written instructions to build cable harnesses.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Experience with assembly, production, soldering, crimping, and wire harness assembly.
- Knowledge of wire termination and hand assembly.
- Proficiency with electronic assembly, soldering, and mechanical assembly.
- Experience with hand tools, microscopes, and electrical assembly.
- Familiarity with IPC-610 and IPC-620 standards.

- IPC-WHMA-A-620 Certification
- IPC-7711/IPC-7721 Certification
- High mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to use hand tools to strip, crimp, and assemble copper and coax wire.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large, regulated, and safety-conscious manufacturing facility located in Oldsmar. It offers a climate-controlled setting with air conditioning and well-spaced individual workstations. Employees can choose between two shifts: 1st shift from 5am to 3:30pm, and 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 2am, both Monday through Thursday with Fridays off.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
