ABOUT THE JOB
POSITION: ADJUNCT PROFESSOR OF AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PART TIME INSTRUCTOR
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution. Relevant certifications in electrical systems or avionics are advantageous.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
Practical experience in the aviation industry, particularly in roles related to aircraft electrical systems or avionics, is desirable.
Possess expertise in Electrical Engineering: In-depth knowledge of electrical circuits, systems, and components specific to aviation; Aircraft Power Systems: Understanding aircraft power generation, distribution, and management systems, including AC and DC systems; Avionics Systems: Familiarity with avionics components and their integration into aircraft electrical systems; Control Systems: Expertise in control theory and its application to aircraft electrical systems, including automation and feedback mechanisms; Safety and Regulatory Standards: Knowledge of Civil Aviation Authorities regulations and safety protocols related to aircraft electrical systems.
LANGUAGE
Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
