ABOUT THE JOB
POSITION: ADJUNCT PROFESSOR OF PISTON ENGINES AND PROPELLERS
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PART TIME INSTRUCTOR
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
PhD in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution. Relevant certifications (Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification).
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
Practical experience in the aviation industry, particularly in roles related to piston engines or propeller systems is desirable.
Possess expertise in Aeronautical Engineering: In-depth knowledge of aerodynamics, propulsion, and aircraft systems; Mechanical Engineering: Understanding of mechanical design, thermodynamics, and materials science as they relate to engines; Aviation Technology: Familiarity with current technologies in piston engines and propeller systems; Maintenance and Repair: expertise maintenance practices and regulatory standards for aircraft engines.
LANGUAGE
Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
