Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for engineers, technicians, and product teams diagnosing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems, software, and networked/wireless equipment.
- Respond to escalated support issues unresolved by first-line product support, ensuring comprehensive diagnostics and resolution.
- Identify and report design, reliability, or maintenance issues to engineering teams (hardware/software).
- Support customer installations and product training, particularly for complex systems requiring technical user understanding.
- Manage technical service delivery for customer programs and maintain compliance with repair procedures, company policies, and customer quality requirements.
- Interface directly with DoD/DHS end-users for high-sophistication product support, especially systems-level software environments.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Department of Defense SECRET clearance required at time of hire.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical support or systems administration experience.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required (e.g., Security+ or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Windows system administration and troubleshooting.
- Network and IT systems management.
- Failure and root cause analysis reporting.
- SQL Server, Oracle CRM, and Microsoft Terminal Server.
- Active Directory, network monitoring tools, asset management software, HBSS, and Anti-Virus tools.
- Familiarity with CA Spectrum One Click is preferred.
- Experience supporting DoD or DHS systems is highly desirable.
- On-site support and occasional travel may be required depending on customer location and program needs.
