As a Technician, you will be responsible for servicing aircraft galley systems and related products onsite at an aircraft manufacturing factory. You will be part of a small, dedicated team representing the company that manufactures these systems, providing support for maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting issues identified by the customer.

Responsibilities

• Service aircraft galley systems and related products onsite.
• Collaborate with partners and management to develop and implement solutions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using hand tools and schematics.
• Repair metal and plastic panels, wiring, and mechanical components using hand tools and power tools.
• Interact and work alongside customer personnel to problem-solve and implement solutions.

• 1+ years experience in building or repairing electromechanical products, or related schooling.
• Eligibility for a Boeing badge.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in aircraft/aviation preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and repair.

• Experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices is preferred.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday through Friday with an initial day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM for 2-3 months, transitioning to either the same day shift or a 2 PM to 10 PM shift, with rotating on-call coverage every third weekend. You will be part of a small team of four, working onsite at the customers factory. Occasionally, you may be required to travel for day projects. The role requires adaptability to accommodate the clients schedule and requests, with some downtime around the aircraft production schedule, offering flexibility to leave early on occasion once tasks are completed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
