Job Summary:

The Aircraft Detail Specialist ensures every aircraft meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, creating safe and luxurious environments for clients. This role combines technical expertise in aircraft detailing with attention to quality and efficiency, directly supporting Jet Accesss commitment to exceptional client experiences and operational excellence.

Core Schedule:

• Days: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• On-call availability and occasional evening/weekend hours required to support operational needs

Compensation:

• Starting hourly wage: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour depending on experience and location
• This position is FLSA Non-Exempt and will be paid at time and one half for any overtime hours worked

Day in the Life:

As an Aircraft Detail Specialist, youll be responsible for maintaining the pristine condition of our aircraft fleet while ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met. Heres what your role encompasses:

Aircraft Interior Detailing & Cabin Preparation:

• Clean and detail passenger cabins, lavatories, and cockpits to luxury standards
• Stock aircraft with general supplies and customized passenger preferences
• Prepare cabins for specific flight requirements and client requests
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and stocking materials
• Shop for and procure passenger preferences as requested by operations

Aircraft Exterior Care & Maintenance:

• Perform exterior washing and detailing of private aircraft
• Execute machine polishing of brightwork, paint polishing, and sealant applications
• Inspect aircraft surfaces for cleanliness and presentation standards
• Operate specialized detailing equipment safely and effectively
• Work at various heights and in confined spaces to access all aircraft areas

Quality & Safety Standards:

• Execute all tasks following established safety protocols and procedures
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in organized condition
• Identify and report any aircraft discrepancies or concerns to appropriate personnel
• Work efficiently in all weather conditions while maintaining quality standards
• Ensure compliance with all aviation safety and security requirements

Mobile Detailing Operations:

• Drive to other airports and locations to detail and stock aircraft as needed
• Coordinate with operations team on aircraft location and scheduling
• Transport detailing equipment and supplies to remote locations
• Manage time effectively to complete detailing tasks at multiple sites
• Maintain professional representation of Jet Access at all locations

Client Experience & Professional Excellence:

• Ensure every detail contributes to an exceptional client experience
• Communicate effectively with operations team on aircraft readiness and status
• Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
• Respond promptly to email communications and scheduling requests
• Complete special projects and initiatives as needed, embracing opportunities to contribute to Jet Accesss continued growth and success.

What will make you successful:

Required Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record (driving to other airports is part of this role)
• Ability to work in elevated positions (above wings and tail structures) and confined spaces requiring bending and stooping
• Physical capability to perform frequent stooping, climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently
• Capacity to stand for extended periods and work in all weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from work location
• Flexible schedule availability including weekends and evenings (company operates 24/7/365)
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Ability to read and respond to email communications promptly
• Strong alignment with Jet Access core values and commitment to safety

• Previous experience with high-end cleaning and detailing, particularly in aviation or luxury automotive industries
