About This Job
Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening for a Atlassian Developer/Administrator at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Manage user permissions for tools according to the needs of projects and teams
- Test new versions of the tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility
- Maintain Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and users while working in latest Jira environment
- Configure and maintain multiple Jira projects, workflows, schemes, settings, users and reports
- Document standards, guidelines and standard operating procedures for admins/users of the system
- Collaborate with Scrum teams to define requirements, design solutions, and test implementations
- Work with Jira filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, and Jira administration
- Improve Jira security; set access permissions for Jira projects and Confluence spaces
- Ability to construct custom dashboards using various filter types in Jira
- Provide training to technical and non-technical teams to use Atlassian tools
- In-depth knowledge and experience with day-to-day Jira administration functionality
- Ad-Hoc report creation and distribution
- Work with internal and external organizations to support various customer user-level requirements, including resolving elevated end-user support requests, and researching and deploying advanced technologies
- Business process analysis and system requirements development
- Implement approved system security policies to include the configuration of user access and permission across a variety of systems
- Monitor application status; support application event triage, monitoring, tracking, and correlation and event characterization and escalation
- Work with vendors as needed for event resolution
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved
- Provide technical assistance, training and system documentation for users to promote efficient operation of applications
- Perform other duties as assigned
