BMS/HVAC Controls Advanced Field Technician

The main function of this position is to respond and resolvecomplex service calls providing technical support and troubleshooting toHoneywell customers. Additional responsibilities related to the technicaldelivery of small service jobs, time and work material, and preventivemaintenance may be assigned as well. These customers will have various productsinstalled that fall into the - HVAC, automation controls, life safety, fire,and security systems category as well as their associated computer systems.Level 3 Technicians will be expected to coach and mentor more juniortechnicians. The goal is to ensure system up-time and efficiency.

Job Duties:

• Can independently troubleshoot and repair complex issues.
• Can program more than one system.
• Perform system back-ups and install appropriate updates andpatches.
• Run one-off problems, scenarios, and integrations based onthe needs of the customer.
• Program EBIs.
• Understand and apply knowledge of virtual machines, systemimaging, and networking to serve the needs of the
• customers (may need topossess certifications).
• Complete required documentation for work performed or othercontractual obligations.
• Proper use of safety personal protection equipment.
• Security and other clearances as required by customer.

You Must Have:

• 5 years of experience.
• Ability to work independently 90 of the time.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel throughout the service area, withoccasional overnight stays.
• Valid Drivers License and driving record acceptable toHoneywell.
