Back-end Developer (.NET)

As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying backend applications and services using the .NET ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that support enterprise digital initiatives.

This position reports to the Manager, Digital Development.

Responsibilities:

    Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend applications using .NET technologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.Maintain code quality through best practices, including unit testing and automation.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services.Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with data protection standards.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.Support deployment and release activities, including CI/CD pipelines.Document technical specifications and system designs.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as needed.

     

Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in backend development using .NET.Proficient in C, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Experience working with stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
