They are responsible for conducting daily safety inspections, interpreting load charts, maneuvering controls with precision based on signals, and performing routine maintenance. Pay: 33.53/50.30
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operations: Manipulate pedals and levers to rotate, raise, and lower the boom and load-line.
- Safety & Inspection: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, check ground stability, and ensure proper outrigger placement to prevent tipping.
- Load Handling: Determine load weights and capacities, ensuring lifts do not exceed rated capacity.
- Coordination: Follow hand or radio signals from riggers or signal persons.
- Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and maintain crane mechanisms.
