You will be part of a dynamic and multitask team that will be responsible for the management of CAMO services, modification campaigns of the current fleet and supporting operation activity based on reliability figures related to Aircraft Cabin, IFE and connectivity systems.
This position will allow you to get to know and work with multiple areas of the company as Operations, Crew, Fleet, Customer and international suppliers involved in aircraft modifications and maintenance, providing you with great perspectives for your professional development.
At present, department is involved in a wide cabin retrofit campaign among new fleet specification so it is a great opportunity to get in mid term a general overview of Cabin modification process and operational issues being part of the overall process from design to embodiment.
Main fuctions:
Monitoring the Airworthiness Directives applicable to cabin systems.
Coordinating their incorporation campaigns to ensure compliance with the deadline.
Evaluation of optional (non-mandatory) modifications, coordinating their modification campaigns based on the 145 requirements and information provided by the Reliability area.
Work closely with the 145 to optimize maintenance activity by reducing cost and improving of the most affected elements via repair designs in collaboration with P21.
Carrying out economic studies linked to the Directives on Airworthiness and/or modifications in coordination with Finance BP and IAG GBS.
Monitor IFE and Cabin connectivity system performance of the fleet.
Management of Weight and Balance of the fleet.
Develop and implement new cabin modification requested by Customer dpt, cabin crew, OPS, etc.
Control and monitoring of main preventive campaigns across Iberia fleet.
Manage and develop fleet programs for the implementation of OPS required retrofits.
Design and development of procedures (e.g. technical standards) as necessary related to its scope of action.
Participation in forums organized by OEM or equipment manufacturers.
Continuous search for opportunities to improve process efficiency and reduce costs.
Provide CAMO services to Iberia customers
Required training and experience:
Aeronautical, Industrial or similar degree.
Knowledge of CAMO and Part 21.
High level of English.
Computer skills for developments in Office 365.
Experience in aircraft maintenance, management of airworthiness maintenance.
Knowledge of CS-25 and AIR OPS standards
Aircraft Systems experience
Optional: Knowledge of AMOS
