The competitive capture Program Manager will have the responsibility leading a competitive capture, securing new business, and potential execution of the contract. This position will require a skill mix capture/proposal management and program execution knowledge, with specific focus on test equipment solutions. This individual will work closely with a cross functional team to develop a solution for a competitive capture following a defined Win Plan approach. This position will be responsible for communicating across multiple internal and external stakeholders as the capture progresses through the proposal phases.

This role includes the necessity to understand the strategy, come up with potential offerings and solutions to meet customer needs, and develop appropriate execution and program plans. Strategic mindset and proposal experience will be key in this role. The ability to create, maintain, and leverage Customer relationships will be a priority in this position.

This Program Manager should have an understanding for all aspects of the program execution (cost, schedule, technical) as well as financial commitments to the Corporation. The selected candidate will lead and integrate professionals from engineering, supply chain, and operations. The candidate must be able to integrate disparate data, be able to drive appropriate processes, identify and manage issues/risks/opportunities, and develop correction action path forward when necessary.

• Demonstrated customer interface experience
• Demonstrated capture and new business experience
• Demonstrated proposal management experience
• Demonstrated business acumen and communication skills
• Demonstrated excellent team building and interpersonal skills, capable of relationship building with customers and employees at all levels and across multiple geographic locations
• Demonstrated program management experience
• Ability to lead and motivate a program team
• Familiarity with typical program performance management metrics
• Experience troubleshooting and leading through program performance issues
• Risk and opportunity management
• Ability to effectively manage a diverse cross functional team which includes both LM employees as well as subcontractors
• Ability to work on site as needed in a proposal room with capture team
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with domestic and international customers
• Experience working full lifecycle contracts
• Program Management Level 2 Certification
• Automated Test Equipment programmatic experience
• Ability to travel to domestically and internationally on an as needed basis

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
