Key Responsibilities

•Ensure regulatory compliance working with GLP and GMP environment
•Familiar with standard analytical lab equipment and methods usage in GMP setting
•Troubleshoot instrument and analytical issues with standard test methodology
•Responsible for day to day operations and direction of GMP lab including assigned workload to analysts or equipment
•Training and mentoring lab analysts
•Recognizes when an exception event, OOS, OOT, or CAPA needs to be documented
•Initiates and conducts investigations under the supervision of QA or senior staff
•Submit deviation reports, work orders, lab incident investigations, etc. as applicable
•Carries out method development, validation, verification, and transfer by following established protocols
•Review and update SOPs related to quality control following proper change control process
•Maintain close working relationship with Operations, Chemist, and Quality Assurance.
•Operate and implement analytical lab instrumentation including execution of IQ/OQ/PQ where required
•Maintain and manage accurate, precise documentation
•Adopt and maintain continuous improvement focus toward all GMP lab activities.
•Prepares technical protocols and reports as needed under general supervision
•Review lab analysts work as primary reviewer after lab verification of data.
•Oversee and review standard and supply inventory levels. Organize laboratory supplies and equipment. Assist in routine         housekeeping activities
•Maintain master equipment list and determine/maintain PM schedule for all equipment
•Understanding that failure to adequately perform some tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations
•Must maintain highest level of ethical and integrity standards
•Other job duties as needed

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE:

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
Experience: Two years or more in regulated laboratory

WE VALUE:

•Bachelors degree in quality assurance management, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or related industry experience
•Knowledge of laboratory processes. Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; organization and detailed-oriented, effective computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel). Able to work as part of a team
•Intermediate to advanced knowledge of one or more laboratory analyzers, such as GC (esp GCMS), Karl Fisher, and FTIR, used to perform chemical analyses as well as basic wet chemistry techniques, such as titration 
•Preference for applicants who understand and can operate OpenLab GC software, Scicord, and/or Labworks 
•Ability to use and comprehend a variety of computer software, including instrumentation and LIMS
•Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand, with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences

•Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including laboratory equipment, laboratory supplies, and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 30 pounds
•Frequently interacts with others to obtain or relate information to diverse groups
•Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence
•Time management and multitasking
