ABOUT US

Since 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737 200C, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.

Air Inuits Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to the companys essential mission of providing safe, timely and high-quality air service to the people living and doing business in the enchanting region of Northern Quebec.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Community Liaison Agent plays a vital role in supporting community members and customers during challenging situations that require empathy, resourcefulness, and effective communication. This position serves as a bridge between Air Inuit and the communities it serves, ensuring that concerns are addressed with care and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the Executive Chairman and the President to respond to community requests.
  • Assist customers in need of information.
  • Perform research on problematic situations and find appropriate solutions.
  • Liaise with Air Inuit departments to resolve issues and communicate out come to customer.
  • Reply to customer requests via messenger, email or phone.
  • Communicate social media feedback to the social media team to prepare responses.
  • Any other related tasks as required by the departments operational needs.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • A natural talent for delivering exceptional customer service with empathy and patience, especially in sensitive situations.
  • A strong ability to think on your feet and solve problems with confidence and creativity.
  • Fluency in Inuktitut—a must-have to connect meaningfully with our communities.
  • Clear and professional written communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable using Messenger as a key communication tool, with a solid grasp of its features.
  • A keen sense of confidentiality, essential for handling sensitive information and delicate situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with Air Inuit’s operations is a definite asset.
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends when needed.

COMPENSATION

  • Salary and benefits are determined in accordance with company policy.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Location: Montreal or Nunavik.
  • Full time position
  • Schedule: To be determined
