RSi is looking to fill a Computer Systems Analyst I position in Fort Benning, GA, to support our Army customer providing Aviation Maintenance and Logistic Services to the Army Ranger School. The Computer Systems Analyst I provides technical support to end-users, troubleshoots hardware and software issues, assists with the installation and maintenance of computer systems for a DoD contract.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide technical support to end-users by phone, email, and in person.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including those related to the ACN aircraft notebook software. (Prior experience with ACN is not required, as training will be provided.)
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and software.
• Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Document technical problems and solutions.
• Update user manuals and knowledge bases.
• Assist the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with information security tasks, following established policies and procedures (specific duties will be determined in consultation with the ISSO).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is subject to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as well as a pre-employment physical.

Required Minimum Education/Experience/Certifications: 

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role.
• IAT Level I Baseline Certification.

Preferred Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/IT Skills/Certifications: 

• Experience in a DoD IT environment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in the use of computers and common software applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Meticulous attention to detail, as this position involves some information security responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of US Army Aviation or DoD operations.

Work Environment:  Office area in an aircraft hangar, frequent loud noises, and other industrial settings.

Physical Environment (outside, inside, heights, stairs etc.) /Requirements (lifting, heights, bending etc.):   Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
