ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Consultant to join our People Business Partnership team. This role offers a broad range of responsibilities and growth opportunities, making it ideal for someone passionate about learning and growing their career in HR. You will play a role in supporting HR initiatives, coordinating projects, delivering insightful analysis, and enabling the execution of people strategies.
To spur aviation’s journey towards a carbon net-zero future, to offer seamless passenger experience, to pioneer and explore new and emerging transport technologies on air, rail or sea, SITA relies on an operational engine, SITA Global Services (SGS). 1 700 people strong (technicians, engineers, customer specialists, project managers, service designers, enterprise architects etc.), SGS serves 2,500+ customers (airlines, airports, border authorities, etc.) in more than 100 countries. Driven by 3 key ambitions (quality of service, profitability, customer experience), the SGS Business Unit has engaged in a large transformation (of its organizational capabilities, tools & technologies, processes, governance), which call for novel, agile and augmented Talent & HR responses.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Support the People Business Partner (PBP) by contributing to both operational and strategic areas of the people agenda, including:
System & Workforce Management
- Assist in managing workforce operations to ensure optimal staffing levels and resource allocation.
- Manage and support HR systems and daily operations, ensuring data accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion of deliverables.
Project Coordination & Transformation Support
- Contribute to transformation initiatives and HR streams that drive digitalization, innovation, and organizational change.
- Support cross-functional projects that enhance employee experience, learning, job design, and communication.
- Assist in coordinating projects according to the People Team roadmap, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, from junior employees to senior leaders, maintaining professionalism and approachability.
- Communicate clearly and proactively, supporting alignment and collaboration across teams.
Talent Development & Retention
- Support initiatives that help identify, develop, and retain top talent across the organization.
Performance Management & Succession Planning
- Collaborate in identifying and developing future leaders through succession planning strategies.
- Help manage the performance management cycle including goal setting, reviews, and feedback.
Training Plan & People Development
- Contribute to the design and implementation of learning and development initiatives that align with organizational goals.
Reporting & Analytics
- Track HR metrics and KPIs; develop and manage reports to monitor workforce trends and support data-driven decisions. Maintain the reporting capability to feed corporate KPIs.
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years in an HR generalist or organizational development role in a dynamic, competitive environment (e.g., high-tech or service sector); project management experience is an asset.
- Strong system management mindset; able to prioritize daily tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI and HRIS systems is advantageous.
- Confident communicator with a natural ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Quick learner with a growth mindset keen to develop professionally and absorb knowledge about the business unit.
- Proactive and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Fluency in English is required.
