In your role, you will
- Must be able to update shop floor communication boards with standard charts weekly.
- Candidate will Retrieve data from Power BI reports and post as required.
- Candidate will Conduct weekly audits of the Bombardier Operational Excellence System and report non conformances to standards.
- Candidate must be able to work with cross functional teams on standardizing the shop floor in lean manufacturing.
- Candidate will complete administrative duties of printing, coping, posting as required.
- Candidate must be able to drive shop floor improvements by working with cross functional teams to identify constraints to processes.
As our ideal candidate
Students of industrial engineering, manufacturing, quality, or reference.
Be available to carry out their internship on site.
Would have taken classes in:
- Lean Manufacturing
- Continuous Improvement
- Six Sigma
- Problem Solving
Microsoft office- Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Soft skills:
- Good communication with staff, Able to make presentations and training in front of work teams.
Project Management:
- Focuses on planning and organizing a project and its resources. This includes identifying and managing the lifecycle to be used, applying it to the user-centered design process, formulating the project team, and efficiently guiding the team through all phases until project completion.
