The Boeing Company is seeking a Crater to support Boeing Global Services in SeaTac, WA. Employees in this position work in a Distribution Center or a Shipping Area building wooden and fiberboard crates for domestic and export shipments and storage.

Position Responsibilities:

• &xfeff;&xfeff;Operate typical wood shop power tools such as table and band saws
• &xfeff;&xfeff;Operate typical hand tools such as hammer, drill and pneumatic nail gun
• &xfeff;&xfeff;Operate powered industrial trucks
• &xfeff;&xfeff;Apply labels, paint stencils and glue padding to crates
• &xfeff;&xfeff;Move completed crates to prescribed areas
• &xfeff;&xfeff;Eye, ear, hand and foot protection will be required to be worn

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• &xfeff;&xfeff;High School Diploma or GED
• &xfeff;&xfeff;Ability to carry up to 15lbs frequently and occasionally up to 35lbs
• &xfeff;&xfeff;Have experience with power equipment and hand tools such as table saws, band saws, pneumatic nail guns, hammers and wrenches
• Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift (24/7/365-day operation. Saturday and Sunday may be required work days)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 2+ years experience with shop equipment such as tables saws, band saws, and pnuematic nail guns. 
• 1+ year of experience in carpentry

Summary Pay Range: $23.32 - $51.82
