Are you our new Customs Compliance Officer?
As a Customs Compliance Officer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our global cross-border operations meet all customs and trade compliance regulations. You will play a strategic role in building robust customs procedures, overseeing compliance activities, and acting as the focal point for internal stakeholders and external authorities.

You are our ideal candidate if:
- Master’s degree or an MBA in a related field or relevant customs training like “Tollskolen”
- Minimum five years relevant work experience from a similar role – relevant work experience can compensate for lack of formal education
- Very good knowledge of international trade
- Experience in export controls, customs compliance
- Good knowledge of trade related laws and regulations including incoterm, classification HS knowledge is highly valued
- Preferably experience from working in an international organization
- Proficiency in Norwegian and English (oral and written)

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with customs legislation, export control, and trade regulations across all group companies.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining customs compliance strategies, policies, and internal guidelines.
- Managing and overseeing customs declarations, audits, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and adherence.
- Monitoring customs law updates and translating them into clear operational procedures and training.
- Acting as the contact for customs authorities, auditors, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Supporting and guiding internal teams with customs knowledge, training materials, and day-to-day compliance inquiries.
- Driving continuous process improvements to optimize customs and trade compliance efficiency.
