Site Overview
Established in 2000, the John F. Welch Technology Center (JFWTC) in Bengaluru is our multidisciplinary research and engineering center. Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents, pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing.
Essential Responsibilities
- Be a part of Cyber team to work on DLP, IDM, Lab Operational Technology, Third Party Security, software Security, Incident management process… e.t.c.
- Work closely with the Cyber Ops community to identify business needs, create a problem statement, & develop functional specifications and support cyber solution development.
- Work closely with an identified mentor on an allocated project. Analyze, design, test, integrate various components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements.
- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with organization policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present technical data & document and communicate the results of technical data generated.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Students of Bachelors/Masters in engineering, (Computer Science/Information Technology/Cyber Security) from reputed institutes
Desired Characteristics
- Technology enthusiast. Passion/aptitude for both Cyber Security and information technology. Up to date with current industry standards, trending cyber software and information technology development tools.
- Strong in software development methodology, Cyber data analytics & data engineering
- Strong communication and documentation ability
- Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom. Extra initiatives/engagements in student organizations is a plus
- Communicative & open- minded. Good written and verbal communication skills
- Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn
- Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively
