BAE Systems is looking for a junior-level Cybersecurity Analyst to join a strong team supporting our government customer. This position will provide the ability to make a significant impact to the mission.

The junior-level Cybersecurity Analyst will be:

Responsible for monitoring computer networks for security issues.
Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
Documenting security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
Working with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities, such as penetration testing.
Fixing detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
Recommending best practices for IT security.
Installing security measures and operating software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
Must be capable of conducting analysis, confirming intrusion information and creating a forensically sound duplicate of the files.
Decrypting data and provides technical summaries and input.
Examining recovered data for relevant information and performs dynamic analysis to include timeline, statistical, and file signature analysis.
Performing real-time cyber defense handling tasks to support deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs).

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
Performs work that requires practical experience and training.
Work is performed under supervision.
Minimum of 1 year experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
