The Role: Data & Insight Product Owner

Join British Airways as a Data & Insight Product Owner and become an integral part of our team. We are seeking talented individuals with a strong background in data and insights to manage the implementation, change, and improvement of data and insight products, ensuring maximum value extraction from data.

What Youll Do:

  • Manage product backlogs for various Data and Insights portfolios, ensuring coordination and delivery within defined parameters.
  • Cultivate effective external relationships with contractors and suppliers, addressing issues and negotiating contracts.
  • Foster close relationships with key internal stakeholders to scope, design, and prioritize backlogs for assigned products.
  • Take accountability for product processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Lead a team, ensuring appropriate resourcing, motivation, and skill development.
  • Conduct compliance reviews, contributing to the enhancement of product standards and processes.

Your Experience:

  • Significant product and project management experience in a technical department/company.
  • Knowledge of Data departments.
  • People management experience.
  • Numeric Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Data products, including Data cloud solutions like AWS and Snowflake.
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Product Owner, Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist).
