The Role: Data & Insight Product Owner
Join British Airways as a Data & Insight Product Owner and become an integral part of our team. We are seeking talented individuals with a strong background in data and insights to manage the implementation, change, and improvement of data and insight products, ensuring maximum value extraction from data.
What Youll Do:
- Manage product backlogs for various Data and Insights portfolios, ensuring coordination and delivery within defined parameters.
- Cultivate effective external relationships with contractors and suppliers, addressing issues and negotiating contracts.
- Foster close relationships with key internal stakeholders to scope, design, and prioritize backlogs for assigned products.
- Take accountability for product processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Lead a team, ensuring appropriate resourcing, motivation, and skill development.
- Conduct compliance reviews, contributing to the enhancement of product standards and processes.
Your Experience:
- Significant product and project management experience in a technical department/company.
- Knowledge of Data departments.
- People management experience.
- Numeric Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Sciences, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Data products, including Data cloud solutions like AWS and Snowflake.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Product Owner, Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist).
