Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL routines and reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI.
Build and optimize repeatable data pipeline strategies across multiple environments using automation to ensure scalability and performance.
Design and deploy database table structures, reports, and queries supporting enterprise data needs.
Develop and document data warehouse (DWH) extracts, dashboards, and other BI outputs.
Implement monitoring, quality checks, and validation processes to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
Conduct and coordinate unit and system testing to ensure alignment with business intelligence requirements.
Lead and support performance tuning of queries and data loads; troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure data product attributes match real-world process outputs and drive actionable insights.
Design, develop, and maintain AP Systems reporting infrastructure including on-prem SQL databases, data warehouses, and cloud-based lakehouses.
Support project planning and execution, guiding cross-functional teams and managing key deliverables.
Mentor and guide other data professionals in data standards and best practices.
Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI models into enterprise data systems and pipelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Active or previous experience in the Aviation industry strongly preferred.
10–15+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, and business transformation through technology.
Minimum 5 years of experience developing data warehousing, dashboards, and analytics.
Proficient in T-SQL, SSIS packages, and Stored Procedures on Microsoft SQL Server.
Expertise in data integration and ETL pipeline design, with strong understanding of system architecture.
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs (including mTLS) to extract data from diverse sources.
Working knowledge of AI concepts, data modeling, and system integration.
Skilled in data visualization and UX design for dashboards and reporting tools.
Familiarity with cloud-based data lakehouses and hybrid infrastructure (on-prem/cloud).
On-site or travel requirements may apply based on project needs.
