Job Description

Join our team at Dulles International Airport, where you will be responsible for servicing catering trucks. This role involves preventative maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on medium-duty trucks, with a focus on diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on medium-duty trucks.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines.
• Repair air brake systems.
• Read and interpret schematics.
• Work on and understand hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in trucks.
• Conduct wiring diagnostics.
• Address check engine lights and drivability issues.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 4+ years of diesel experience.
• Experience in repair and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proficiency in diesel engine diagnostics.
• Electrical experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Valid drivers license.
• Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge. (Lifetime background)
• Flexibility to work various shifts.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment at Dulles International Airport, using tablets to receive and complete tasks such as preventative maintenance, engine diagnostics, and brake repairs. Most work is performed off the ramp, focusing on diesel and some gas engine trucks. Shift hours range from 6 AM-2:30 PM or 2 PM-10:30 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sterling, VA.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $89440.00/yr.
