Job Description:

Profile:

The 8-month Intern, ERP Program, reports to the Program Manager for Corporate Consolidation, including change initiatives, programs and projects that bring together the shareholders’ vision of one De Havilland Aircraft of Canada. The Intern will be an important team member for the Program Team and will work directly with the project manager and business analysts supporting the objectives of the ERP Project Plan. The Intern will support as a liaison between internal business functions as required and support in the facilitation of meeting preparation, delivery, and follow-up. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Direct data entry to support issue identification, analysis and reporting to all levels within the company
  • Support and liaise related to change initiatives tied to the successful implementation of the IFS software
  • Draft program and project management documentation as required
  • Work directly with change management consultants and internal communications to ensure real-time, the flow of information for all program participants
  • Represent the Program team at internal meetings capture all pertinent information for dissemination and resolution

 

Education & Experience:

  • A combination of education and experience in aerospace, project management and/or manufacturing will be considered
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, IT, Change Management, Project Management, or equivalent combination of education and/ or three years of experience equivalency

 

Skills:

  • Basic to intermediary knowledge in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Team oriented and works well in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to manage and act on multiple projects and priorities at one time
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Capability to maintain steady control and calm when facing challenges
  • Metrics-focused

Work Location & Conditions of Employment:

  • Candidate will be required to live in Calgary, Alberta
  • Candidate will be required to work in the office full time in a collaborative, and innovative environment
