Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We’ve designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onwards toward certifying the Joby aircraft with the Federal Aviation Administration, scaling our manufacturing, and preparing to launch commercial service in 2025.

If you like working with your hands and are hardworking, motivated, excited about working on next generation cutting edge aircraft and take pride in doing high quality work, then we want to talk to you! On our team, you will work to build and install the critical systems that make up the heart of all of Joby’s technologies, the electrical system. We at Joby have been hard at work making groundbreaking developments toward our goal of providing safe, affordable, fully electric air transportation that is accessible to everyone. We are not shy about our goal to change the world. Our all-electric aircraft can quietly take off vertically like a helicopter, then transition to the efficient configuration of wing-born flight as an airplane and transport you and your family quickly and effortlessly over the congestion below, to then land vertically on a helipad close to your final destination giving you back the time you’d waste sitting in traffic.

We are a fun, small, tight-knit team who like to work hard and enjoy what we do. We have multiple openings for this role with different expectations depending on level of experience. Read on below and let us know how your passion and experience can help us build the future of air transportation!
