Key Responsibilities:
- Installing power cables in all type of cable containment and conduits, power outlets and lighting fixtures installation, performing projects site inspections for electrical scope understanding, applying power shutdown, cable termination, circuit breakers installation and panel modification works and collaborating with other team members for assigned electrical projects.
- Conducting PAT testing with appropriate testing machines and ensure all utilized equipment are calibrated and holding approved certificates.
- Reading and interpreting electrical Load schedules, Line diagrams, and power schematics
- Electrical system Troubleshooting, Diagnose and identify the root cause of electrical problems and faults using specialized tools.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standards and follow all safety regulations and procedures when working with electrical systems to prevent accidents
- Ensure code and standards compliance by Inspecting electrical systems and installations to ensure they meet Kahramaa electrical codes and building regulations.
- Understanding work permit method statement and risk assessment, verifying site conditions, completing work according to the permits instructions, performing system testing, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring all lockout/tagout and safety procedures are strictly followed before starting and upon completion of the task.
- Maintaining adequate stock of electrical parts and materials and ensuring withdrawal of required tools and materials from stores and to be kept safely and efficiently to support electrical installation work
- Raise system requisitions for required tools and materials with coordination with line manager
- Maintain records of all assigned works, projects timelines, attendance, leave and training schedules.
- Prepare daily reports of ongoing work progress details to be discussed with line manager and supervisors
