Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Specialist
Job Description
Join an aircraft maintenance company known for its expertise in repair overhaul and support. As a Shipping/Receiving Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations by handling incoming and outgoing shipments, performing quality inspections, and managing inventory.
Responsibilities
- Sign for incoming packages and write up incoming units for repair work.
- Perform quality inspections on incoming units and scan all receiving documents.
- Identify proper packaging and verify part numbers and serial numbers.
- Prepare shipments for pickup and deliveries, ensuring correct labeling and proper packaging.
- Make records of all shipments and assist with daily inventory management.
- Manage consignment inventory and run picking reports to assist team members.
- Assist mechanics at the windows and process parts for work orders.
- Process Yellow Tags and receive parts back into inventory from shops.
- Organize the department by relocating parts and printing new labels.
- Order supplies and assist other team members with their tasks.
Essential Skills
- High School diploma or GED.
- Basic computer knowledge and detail-oriented capabilities.
- Ability to follow written instructions from manuals or documents.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work schedules including nights and weekends.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in receiving, stockroom, and shipping is a plus.
- Experience with Quantum software is advantageous.

Work Environment
The role is based in an air-conditioned repair station, resembling a back shop or cell environment. You will work independently after being trained, with a shift from 7:15 am to 4:00 pm. Overtime is available as needed but not guaranteed.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
