Field Technician - Flow Monitoring

$23.00/Hourly

Support field operations by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting flow monitoring and rainfall equipment, ensuring accurate data collection and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform fieldwork related to the installation, operation, and maintenance of flow and rainfall monitoring equipment in sewer systems.
• Install and calibrate flow and level monitors and rainfall gauges in underground sewer systems.
• Collect and verify sewer flow, level, and rainfall data for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and field diagnostics for instruments.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment, ensuring readiness for deployment.
• Perform confined space entries and act as a topside attendant; conduct non-entry vertical rescue operations when required.
• Set up traffic control work zones in high-traffic areas in accordance with safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate field logs and documentation per quality work instructions.
• Use fall protection systems while working at heights and climbing ladders.
• Participate in internal and external training programs; complete all required certifications.
• Travel as necessary and work overtime to meet operational needs.
• Foster a strong safety culture and uphold all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Licenses: Valid driver’s license.

• Experience/Skills:

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot field equipment.

  • Basic computer proficiency (Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word).

  • Manual dexterity; willingness to work outdoors in challenging environments.

  • Ability to perform confined space entry and rescue operations when required.

  • Basic knowledge of electronics preferred.

• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, meet daily productivity goals, and foster a strong safety culture.

• Travel and fieldwork in sewer environments required.
