Reports To : Base Head or Manager at their respective Base
Minimum Qualifications: 10+2 and Minimum of four years of flying or overall experience, out of which minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role Or Five in a similar role from other Airlines
Job Overview : The Sr. Executive / Executive at the Base is responsible for the day-to-day Cabin Crew operations during his/her shift. This profile is responsible for Cabin Crew Operations and required to drive excellence in the respective unit by promoting efficiency and best results at the Base.
Responsibilities and Duties a) Act as a duty in-charge (as may be applicable) > Ensure cabin crew reports in time > Crew has performed mandatory pre-flight medical check requirements o Share any critical operations related updates and special briefings as may be required o Operating Crew is in possession of mandatory documents and recent circulars
b) To ensure cross departmental functions and work in collaboration with operational departments (Crew Control, Crew Scheduling, Training, Catering, etc.) to provide input on issues such as flight delays, roster needs, technical issues. Ensure these are effectively communicated and understood by crew
c) Total responsible in driving efficiency in the Briefing cycle and achieve expected KPI
d) Consistently driving towards improving OTP (on time performance) and weekly performance numbers
e) Be part of development and implementation of new projects by supporting all operational requirements. Have an open mind to align with the changing business needs
f) Assist in creating procedures, policies and guidelines in line with corporate policies and IFS standards to ensure fair and consistent management of Cabin Crew performance
g) Set attendance statistics and ensure accountability for achieving these results are met and implement effective solutions for all categories (Sickness, Absences, Code of Conduct)
h) Support and promote a culture of safety and security within the In-Flight Services Department
i) Ensuring all costs are kept within IFS department budget and align with company goals
j) Offer recommendations and assistance to Base Head & Manager’s in relation to the development of departmental manuals and other areas, in line with the changing needs of the business
k) To be on-call when required to make decisions to minimize operational disruption whilst taking into consideration crew welfare
l) Drive optimization and team utilization by planning effective rosters and ensuring Crew traffic are covered and avoid any disruptions m) Constant self-development and enhancing self-skillset as desired by the role and for growth
n) Ensure by self that Flight reports are filled in time by their respective base leads o) Additionally, he/she would be responsible for safety related duties as defined for IndiGo personnel in safety policy, Section 9 of OPM, Para 9.2.7 and 9.3.3 (as applicable)
