Position SummaryResponsible for strategic manpower planning and resource optimization to ensure sufficient and cost-effective deployment of flight and cabin crew in support of the Company’s operational and commercial objectives. The role ensures regulatory compliance, budget control, policy implementation, and operational continuity through effective workforce forecasting and planning.
Key Accountabilities- Support and uphold all safety and security policies in alignment with Flight Operations objectives.
- Ensure workforce planning activities comply with applicable aviation regulations, Flight Time Limitations (FTL), company policies, and industrial agreements.
- Maintain governance and control standards in manpower planning processes.
- Develop short-, medium-, and long-term crew manpower plans in line with flight schedules, fleet expansion, route development, and business growth projections.
- Monitor crew establishment levels to ensure sufficient availability of qualified flight and cabin crew.
- Identify manpower gaps, attrition risks, and training pipeline requirements, proposing timely mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Crew Scheduling, Training, Recruitment, and Operations Control to ensure workforce readiness.
- Drive optimal crew utilization while balancing operational resilience and cost efficiency.
- Support initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce overtime exposure, and manage standby coverage effectively.
- Provide cost analysis and financial forecasting related to manpower planning and crew establishment.
- Develop and implement structured processes to support workforce planning policies in accordance with Company terms and conditions.
- Continuously review and improve workforce planning processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare manpower reports, dashboards, and management presentations to support strategic decision-making.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department to support operational and business objectives.
Qualifications - Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related discipline
- 2-3 years relevant working experience in related field
Areas of Experience- Strong understanding of flight and cabin crew rostering principles and aviation regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in manpower forecasting, data analysis, and productivity monitoring.
- Exposure to budget management and cost control practices.
- Experience using crew management systems and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, BI dashboards).
