What are your contributions to the team?
  • Participate in technology, production and marketing projects involving virtual and augmented reality.
  • Interact with technical experts in various Operations and Engineering disciplines to understand the needs for AR/ VR technologies.
  • Lead the development of extended reality applications to address identified business needs.
  • Participate in the evolution of Bombardier roadmap for AR/VR technologies in R&T and Operations.
  • Closely monitor the evolution of AR/ VR technologies.
  • Collaborate with industry and academic partners to explore applications of AR/VR technologies.
  • Work closely with the Bombardier Operations, IT and Engineering teams in the strategy, planning and deployment of AR/ VR solutions.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You have a bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Engineering, or other pertinent background of education.
  • You have three (3) to five (5) years of experience working with AR & VR.
  • You master standard AR&VR tools such as Unreal.
  • You have a good knowledge in Object Oriented development in C++.
  • You have working knowledge in using 3D modelling tools (Rhino, Blender, etc).
  • You are familiar with the latest AR/VR technologies, both hardware and software, and want to further develop expertise in this area.
  • You are open-minded, curious, rigorous and methodical.
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You are able to interact easily with professionals of various backgrounds, both technical and non-technical.
  • You present concisely and clearly and are able to adapt your communication to your audience.
  • You are fluent in French and English
