Description:This position supports the Aeronautics Field Sustainment teams Hill Air Force Base, Utah and the F-16 European Participating Air Force (EPAF) countries by researching, developing, and integrating the technical data/technical order changes related to the F-16 aircraft avionics and weapons systems along with the support equipment and aircraft system testers for the five F-16 European Participating Air Force (EPAF) countries.
Other responsibilities include:
• Provide technical expertise to the five F-16 European Participating Air Force (EPAF) countries of Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway and Portugal for the research, evaluation, and interpretation of engineering data related to all areas of the F-16 aircraft.
• Be able to communicate on the subject of all levels of Support Equipment (SE), and primarily in the area of avionics and pneumatics system test equipment.
• Act as the central point of contact for F-16 engineering documentation for both the customer and the USAF support personnel, using the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LM Aero) and other technical databases for historical information.
• Provide system and aircraft interface technical expertise to initiate/review/update/edit Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO’s) and Technical Orders (T.O.)’s.
• Provide information on software and hardware part number cross-references, Engineering Change Proposal (ECP)/Engineering Change Notice (ECN)/Organic Change Notice (OCN)/Engineering Change Order (ECO)/Advanced Change Study Notice (ACSN) information and status, aircraft configuration and effectivity, interpretation of LM Aero engineering drawings and F-16 configuration management tasks.
• Observe what other F-16 users are doing to maintain their aircraft and determine if those changes would benefit the EPAF countries F-16 Aircraft, and communicate to them how to incorporate these changes.
• Be able to perform on-site technical assistance for modifications, kit proofs and TCTO/T.O. validation/verification at both USAF and EPAF base locations.
• Additional duties include supporting Configuration Management tasks such as attending boards, representing the EPAF Program Office at the boards, answering questions at the boards and meetings on behalf of the EPAF customers, when they are not available.
• Accomplishing documentation for functions such as Operational Safety, Suitability and Effectiveness (OSS&E), Air Worthiness, Flight Certification Requests, board presentation slides and more.
• Some travel may be required.

Must have a Final Secret Security Clearance. Must be a United States citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

• Working knowledge and understanding of the F-16 avionics systems and the associated organizational/depot/field level test equipment along with the associated Technical Orders (T.O.s) systems.
• Basic knowledge and background of the F-16 aircraft and support equipment.
• Experience reading/interpreting Aircraft engineering documents and drawings.
• Experience with customer interaction and communication.

• F-16 Avionics Maintenance and aircraft system knowledge and understanding with five or more recent years working aircraft test equipment.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the following: Engineering Document Management System (EDMS), Multi-program Release System (MPRS), F-16 aircraft and intermediate level test equipment T.O.s, to include the Air Force reviewing and updating processes.
• Background in database research or data mining which results in authorized part substitution recommendations.
• Familiar with Hill Air Force Base depot repair, overhaul process and procedures.
• Experience monitoring and researching deficiency reports on the Lockheed Martin Field Information Network (FIN).

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
