Responsibilities:
Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard.
Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies.
Follow all safety precautions when fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
Operate powered industrial equipment in compliance with OSHA guidelines and procedures.
Set up and maintain machines used for pipe fabrication.
Accurately measure, record, and track random pipe lengths.
Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches.
Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines.
Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklift equipment.
Qualifications / Must Haves:
6–8 months of recent machine operation experience such as pipe threaders, band saws, roll groove machines, plasma cutters, automatic welding machines, and pneumatic banders.
Proficient in using tape measures and precision gauges.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet.
Good computer skills for operating automated machinery.
Excellent math and communication skills.
High school diploma or GED (required and must be listed on resume).

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
