Objectives
Facility Maintenance Manager position is responsible for preventative maintenance, major and minor repairs of all types for the buildings, hangars, and mechanical equipment. This position is responsible for all aspects of facility maintenance to provide a comfortable, clean, and safe facility for customers, pilots, and employees.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for ensuring all projects are completed in a safe and timely manner so as not to affect the customer or team member experience.
- Evaluate and repair the broad array of facility-related maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical. carpentry, painting, masonry, and roadways. When necessary, coordinate with an appropriate sub-contractor.
- Assist with the upkeep of the grounds to include mowing, edging, weeding etc.
4.Conduct inspections of buildings and grounds identifying maintenance and safety problems implementing corrective action as needed.
- Schedule work order, place vendor bids for materials, select vendors and prepare requisitions.
- Maintain OSHA Safety Standards and other policies and procedure of Million Air.
- Maintain a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Act as a liaison with state and local officials having regulatory oversight and inspection responsibilities.
- Provide maintenance and upkeep of the building interior and exterior. Ensure entire facility is kept in "new" condition. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and rules.

Competencies
- Working knowledge of basic building maintenance
- Communicate with customers and employees in person, on phone, and through radio communications
- Must be able to interpret printed and computerized maintenance manuals.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company (Requires clean driving record
- Write legibly to complete forms/paperwork as required
Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the General Manager.
Work Environment
This position works outside in all types of weather conditions with possible contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, to include but not limited to:
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery
- Outside work in all types of weather conditions
- Position requires bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting, gripping, and climbing a ladder.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a non-exempt position. This position may require working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays.

No travel is expected for this position.
Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications
- Minimum one (2) years of experience in building maintenance related field
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
