Are you ready to take your hands-on skills and customer service experience to the next level? PDS Tech Commercial is hiring Residential Field Service Support Technicians to work directly with customers across Florida, installing energy-saving products and educating homeowners about how to reduce their electric bills.
This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to make a real impact on the environment, improve lives, and be part of a mission-driven team supporting energy efficiency statewide.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)
Install energy-saving products in residential homes (LED bulbs, low-flow showerheads, pipe insulation, hot water tank wraps, and more)
Educate homeowners on how to lower energy usage and qualify for additional free services
Drive a work truck/van safely to homes across Florida (vehicle provided)
Report daily progress, safety concerns, and installation data to your supervisor
Participate in neighborhood kickoff events to engage with new communities
Travel 60 of the time across Florida with hotel accommodations and per diem support when needed
Work Schedule
Standard: Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Occasional: Some Saturdays as needed
Optional: 4-day work week (10-hour shifts) based on field needs
Weekends and most holidays off!
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record (MVR check required)
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Willingness to travel overnight during the week (travel vehicle provided)
Strong communication skills and professionalism
Ability to work independently or with a partner
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in sales, customer service, cable/satellite installation, alarm systems, HVAC, or energy efficiency
Safety-focused and highly organized
Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is a plus, but not required
Detail-oriented with strong work ethic and responsibility

Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
