Under the direction of the Fitness Center Lead, the Fitness Center Attendant executes and ensures daily operations are performed as per established polices & practices. Ensures the facilities remain clean and they promote a friendly atmosphere, by assisting patrons with their questions and equipment needs

• Accepts reservations, collects fees, hands out towels, checks out equipment, maintains records of material used, number of patrons and other required information for operation of the facility.
• May prepare individual exercise records including measuring and patrons exercise objectives.
• Demonstrates proper use of equipment.
• May monitor exercise areas, sauna, steams rooms, whirlpool and dressing areas to ensure compliance with facility rules.

• High School graduate or equivalent. 
• Valid drivers license.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification from a nationally/internationally accredited agency is required within 60 days of hire.
• Must have general knowledge base of health and fitness programs and equipment. At least 1 year customer service field experience.
• Must exhibit strong organization and communication skills.
• Must have the ability to quickly solve problems.
• Must have superior organizational skills, working in a fast-paced, on-demand environment.
• Requires strong interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers.
• Requires a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork.
• Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment.
