Fitter Tester (Nacelles)

Job Description:

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

•tEvaluate, strip and build units and sub-assemblies using mechanical and electrical techniques as required by the appropriate media (Component Maintenance Manual and Product Acceptance Test etc.)
•tAdhere to the relevant quality procedures and requirements, and participate in events/ investigations as necessary
•tUsing appropriate test facilities, perform required tests to the relevant specification recording results as necessary
•tCapable of performing any process or function within the repair route. Training will be given as required
•tAble to assess manufactured features for conformance to requirements, and to declare any non-conformances
•tSupport the team and team leader in their objectives and to actively participate in improvements
•tControl, operate and maintain stock control systems as appropriate
•tTransportation of materials, tools and equipment as necessary
•tSupport continuous improvement deployment of ACE through active participation on Lean Events, Workshops and Continuous Improvement activities.

Job Requirements:

Essential skills:

•\tNVQ level 3 is a minimum requirement for this position
•\tDemonstrable problem-solving abilities
•\tPrevious knowledge of assembly activities, fitting and testing skills

Desirable skills:

•\tPC literacy an advantage
