airBaltic Training, a subsidiary of the national Latvian airline airBaltic, is offering a wide range of aviation training services in Riga, Latvia.
Our Pilot Academy operates the most modern and efficient fleet of new generation Diamond DA40/42 aircraft with the brand new convertible simulator located at the airBaltic Training center.
We are currently collecting applications for Flight Instructors (FI) to join our training team for the 2026 season (March to October). Assessments for the role will begin in December 2025, with selected candidates expected to start from March 2026.
We will entrust you to Prepare learning and training resources and participate in the development of training standards
Create a climate conductive to learning in classrooms, briefing rooms, simulators and aircraft
Present technical and operational knowledge
Integrate Threat and Error Management (TEM) and Crew Resources Management (CRM)
Manage time to achieve training objectives
Monitor and review students’ progress, report training outcome
Evaluate training sessions, events
What you will need to succeed Non restricted Fl with a total time experience of 300hrs (100hrs as Fl)
ICAO English level 4 (recommendable 5)
IR & Night privileges are recommendable
Permit to live and work in EU
Good communication skills and leadership abilities
